Give. Pray. Talk.

It is often said that people are goers or senders. Our hope is that many people will be both but in different ways. Those who ‘go’ are no less called to support others. Those that ‘stay’ and support are called to live sent wherever they are. With that said, we recognize and love the diversity in the body of Christ to see the mission of the church move forward where some function more as senders who support the goers. A short list of ways to send includes giving, praying, and talking.

Give

Money will not keep a called planter from planting or a church from multiplying but money can be one of the practical helps to get a new mission going. It is a joy and an honor to be able to financially support a new church. We are looking for givers who want to play a part in reaching many for the glory of God. The more money given the more churches that can be supported. Funding goes to offset material costs for the residency programs so we can supplement expenses for the residents. Giving also goes to help fund trained and commissioned planters after they complete the residency program. Additionally, some funding will be used to help other churches develop their own residency programs through on-site training with key leaders, materials development, and so on. You can make a tax deductible offering here.

Pray

We are looking for people committed to praying for the rapid multiplication of the local church. This is hard and good work and we need many who are willing to bow their heads and go to God. If you are interested in praying for specific planters, cities or projects please let us know at info@goplant.org and we will get you more info on how you can join with us in prayer.

Talk

In addition to giving and praying we are looking for talkers. Some people are gifted with lots of friends and connections and we are hoping they will steward those gifts for the glory of God. Tweet, email, update your FB status, write a letter, hold a sign, and let people know how they can get involved. You may know of someone who is interested in planting and would benefit from training. You may know of people who are looking to give and don’t know where. Spread the word so we can plant more churches.
