Planting Church Planting Churches That Plant Church Planting Churches…

At a foundational level, our approach to planting churches goes something like; pray, preach, plant, repeat. While there are many more details to planting than these words reveal, these capture the basic building blocks of a church multiplication cycle. Every planter trained in our residency program is developed in such a way as to be able to develop future planters. The approach of Socratic discussion, cohort participation, mentor/apprentice relationship within the context of a missional church allows residents to be taught, trained, and tested so that they leave the program ready to train future planters.

The residency program is a highly reproducible, scalable, and practical way to build a church planter. It has been reverse engineered from the Acts29 assessment process in an effort to construct the type of church planter that is not only approved to plant, but is capable of developing others. This is further reinforced by the ongoing shepherding, coaching, networking, and resourcing that is given to all residents to multiply churches as well as their own residency programs.
